Needle Felting - Highland Cow / Jellyfish Workshop

Saturday 6th June 2026, 10.00am - 1.00pm or 2.00pm - 5.00pm

£35 - £60

Join Charlotte for a relaxing and creative workshop where you’ll learn the wonderful art of needle felting.

Two workshops in one day, choose one or do both.

Morning session - Highland Cow

10.00 am - 1.00 pm

Slow down, get cosy, and create your own fluffy Highland friend.

A relaxed, feel-good session where you’ll learn needle felting while bringing a charming Highland Cow to life. With its shaggy coat, sweet face, and rustic character, this project is perfect for anyone who loves nature-inspired crafts.

You’ll be guided step-by-step in a friendly, supportive space—no pressure, no rush—just time to enjoy making. We’ll cover everything from shaping your base to adding those signature long layers of wool and tiny personality-filled details.

Whether you’re completely new or just fancy a creative reset, this workshop is all about enjoying the process as much as the finished piece.

You’ll head home with your own handmade Highland Cow (and probably a new favourite hobby too).

Afternoon session - Jellyfish

2.00 pm - 5.00 pm

The afternoon session is a chance to learn how to needle felt a beautiful Jellyfish. Once again, this session is all about getting creative and learning a new skill - no experience needed at all.

Charlotte will gently guide you through the basics of needle felting, from shaping soft wool into a rounded jellyfish body to adding those flowing, delicate tentacles that bring your piece to life. You’ll have the chance to play with colours, textures, and fibres to make your jellyfish completely your own—whether that’s soft and natural or bright and whimsical.

This is a lovely, mindful workshop - perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a few peaceful hours of creativity. Charlotte keeps the sessions small and supportive, so there’s plenty of help, encouragement, and time to enjoy what you’re making.

You’ll leave with your own finished jellyfish to take home and treasure, along with the confidence to keep felting.

For both sessions:

All materials and tools are provided. There will be a selection of beautiful wool fibres, gentle step-by-step guidance, tea and coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. Just bring yourself and a bit of curiosity.

PRICE:

£35 per session or £60 for both.

Location:

Holden Clough Nurseries

Upstairs in the Potting Shed - limited accessibility. Please let the workshop host know if you have access requirements.
