ABOUT THE HOST…

Ruth began working in leather in 2012 when she trained with a saddler at the Cumbria School of Saddlery. She went on to build a collection of work which she sold at fairs and retail outlets around the UK. During this time more and more people approached her asking how they could learn to make leathergoods and so she decided to start teaching workshops as well as making. Over the years she has taught over 300+ people how to make things in leather and she loves sharing these simple skills and encouraging people with their creativity too.
