Jurassic Egg Terrarium (Family-friendly)

Saturday 17th January, 11.00am–12.00pm

£30

Create your own 'Jurassic Egg' in this family-friendly terrarium workshop.

Gardening on a miniature scale, you will use moss, indoor plants, stones and dinosaur decoration (should you wish) to create your own indoor jungle within glass.

The fantastic egg-shaped glassware is perfect for a gift or a fun addition to any indoor plant jungle. This closed jar terrarium is a self-sustaining eco-system that will thrive and grow requiring little to no maintenance.

All plants, planting materials, tools and tuition will be provided in this one-hour workshop, no experience is necessary.

Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

About the host…

Emma has been leading gardening activities and botanical workshops for over six years, with a special focus on terrarium design and indoor planting.

Her aim is to make gardening accessible for everyone—whatever the season, weather, or available space. With a strong background in secondary education and horticultural tuition for community gardens and alternative provision, her workshops are inclusive, engaging, and easy to take part in.

Each session is designed as a fun, “hands-in-soil” experience that supports health, well-being, and relaxation. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing participants leave with their own plant creation—something they can be proud of, and that continues to bring life and enjoyment into their home or garden.
