A Taste of Italian Wine

Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Educator, Maureen Little will present six specially selected Italian wines – sparkling, white, rosé, and red.

Maureen will show you how to taste the wines like a pro, discuss the grape varieties, look at wine labels, and much more!

You will be able to experience the nuances of different grape varieties which can be found in various regions of Italy, from Piedmont in the north to Puglia in the south.

A delicious cheese and charcuterie accompaniment from The Reading Room Café is included in the price.

No previous experience is necessary – just come along and enjoy! 

About the Host

As well as a gardening author, Maureen is also a keen oenophile. So much so that when she was working for a local wine company, she achieved Level 3 in Wines at the WSET in London. She went on to become a qualified Educator and taught Levels 1 and 2 of the WSET Wine Courses
