Remember the song Scarborough Fair, with its mention of parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme? In this illustrated talk we’ll be discovering how to grow and use these, and a garden-ful of other herbs – from basil to winter savory – that we know are safe to use in cooking.
There will be recipe tastings, too!
The price includes a copy of Maureen’s booklet The Little Booklet of Culinary Herbs for you to keep.
ABOUT THE Host
Maureen Little has been growing things, on and off, throughout her life.
She started knee-high to a grasshopper helping her Dad on his market garden in Sussex and, later in her career, after becoming a professional garden designer, and writing several gardening books - including two on herbs - she ended up owning and running her own plant centre specialising in pollinator-friendly plants and culinary herbs.
Gardening-wise, she now concentrates on writing, and giving talks to groups and societies and is a full member of both the Garden Media Guild and Society of Authors.
