Find out the answer to these, and lots of other honey bee questions, in this fascinating, illustrated talk.

And you’ll have the opportunity to taste different types of honey, too!

The price includes a jar of Lancashire honey for you to take home.

About the Host

Maureen Little has been growing things, on and off, throughout her life – and she kept bees for part of the time.

She started knee-high to a grasshopper helping her Dad on his market garden in Sussex and, later in her career, after becoming a professional garden designer, and writing several gardening books she ended up owning and running her own plant centre specialising in bee, and other pollinator-friendly plants and culinary herbs. She also had an apiary at the plant centre.

Gardening-wise, she now concentrates on writing, and giving talks and demonstrations to groups and societies. She is a full member of both the Garden Media Guild and Society of Authors.
