Join us at the Nursery to celebrate English Wine…
Led by Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Educator, Maureen Little who will present six specially selected English wines – sparkling, white, rosé and red.
Maureen will show you how to taste the wines, paying attention to the aroma, the swirl, the flavours, the body, the feel in the mouth, and the finish.
You will be able to experience the nuances of different grape varieties which are particularly suited to the English climate.
A delicious cheese and charcuterie accompaniment from The Reading Room Café is included in the price.
No previous experience is necessary – just come along and enjoy!
About the Host
As well as a gardening author, Maureen is also a keen oenophile. So much so that when she was working for a local wine company, she achieved Level 3 in Wines at the WSET in London. She went on to become a qualified Educator and taught Levels 1 and 2 of the WSET Wine Courses
